Accreditation

City College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) to award Associate of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees. On December 12, 2016 the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education withdrew the recognition of ACICS as an accrediting agency. City College has a provisional participation agreement with USDOE, and the Secretary deems the College to hold recognized accreditation while the PPPA is in effect, not to exceed 18 months from December 12, 2016.

City College Campuses:

  • Altamonte Springs

    City College is located at 177 Montgomery Road in Altamonte Springs Florida. The campus consists of approximately 12,000 square feet of classrooms and administrative offices, which are easily accessible to students with disabilities. Administrative offices, the Library and the computer lab are located on the first floor. Classrooms and a state of the art medical labs are located on the second and third floors. Parking spaces for students with disabilities are provided with a convenient ramp and an elevator to the upper levels. City College is situated off a main thoroughfare and is convenient to Interstate 4 from Semoran Boulevard.

    The facility is attractively appointed. All classrooms are air conditioned, and well lit, as well as being furnished with the latest equipment and materials for each program taught.

  • Fort Lauderdale

    The College is located at 2000 W. Commercial Boulevard. The classrooms, labs, and administrative offices occupy 28,500 square feet of an air-conditioned building. Parking is available to students. Classrooms are intentionally designed to limit the number of students per room so that maximum personal attention can be given to each student. Fort Lauderdale is world-renowned for the beauty in its beaches and in its people. Its varied business sites, along with those in Miami, offer the student numerous opportunities in the working world.

  • Gainesville

    The Gainesville Branch Campus is located at our new building 7001 N.W. 4th Blvd. Gainesville, FL 32607. The classrooms and administrative offices are approx. 21,200 square feet in a single-story building. The physical plant is spacious, attractive, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. Parking is available to the students.

    Computer courses and keyboarding skills are taught on IBM Compatibles. In addition, the college teaches the use of transcribers, electronic ten-key calculators and other business machines. Students in the Medical Assisting and Phlebotomist Programs have laboratory training on-campus.

  • Hollywood

    The college is located in Hollywood, FL on the 2nd and 3rd floors of 6565 Taft Street Office Complex. The College will occupy 12,972 square feet on the 2nd floor and 3,500 square feet on the 3rd floor for a total of 16,472 square feet.

    The College has seven classrooms and a computer lab. Special laboratory classrooms have been developed to simulate actual working conditions for the Emergency Medical Services and Allied Health. The campus also has computers for student use in the Library.

  • Miami

    The Miami Campus of City College is located at 9300 S. Dadeland Boulevard, Suite 200, Miami, FL 33156. The classroom, laboratories, and administrative offices occupy approximately 24,000 square feet of two buildings in the Dadeland Towers office park. There is a large, safe and secure, parking garage adjacent to one of the buildings in the park, and the facility offers a variety of both indoor and outdoor study areas to accommodate student needs.

    The Miami Campus teaches computer courses in its own state-of-the-industry computer network laboratory which consists of Intel based workstations, color monitors, laser, and color printers. Students in the Medical Assisting program have laboratory training on campus and Private Investigator students train with video camcorders and 35mm cameras.
